A little note from your Assistant Principals!
We hope you all have a great Thanksgiving Break and are able to spend some quality time with family! The count is on now to Christmas break! Even though it is a short time, we have a lot going on!
Veterans Day was such a Blessing last week as we Honored the men and women who have served and who are currently serving in our Armed Forces. Please see the wonderful video made by Student Council below highlighting some of the fun!
Progress reports will be coming home on Monday, 12/5, for any student that has a 75 or below in any class. Please make sure that you sign the progress reports and return them to the teachers if needed. Thanks so much! We couldn't do it without the support of our parents!!

Girls Basketball:
This past weekend the Lady Cubs competed in the Kennedale Junior High B Team Tournament. The 8th graders came away with first place beating Kerr 34-17 in the first game, Wester 24-10 in the second game, and Kennedale in the last game 25-11. All of the Lady Cubs played hard. The 7th graders came away with consolation. After starting out with a tough game against Kerr, they finished the tournament beating Cleburne Smith and HF Stevens. Way to go Lady Cubs!! The 7th grade team will play today in Terrell, 8th grade will play Thursday in Terrell and the C teams will play today at Walnut Grove.Tennis Update:
Wow what a match between Midlothian and Corsicana. Our closest match of the season so far losing by just 1 match! The final score was 19-20! Our students fought hard all the way through the end. This was our last match for the fall season. Be on the lookout for the Spring tennis schedule so you can come out and support FSMS and WGMS!

Music to our ears!
Band students received some VERY difficult music in the last week of August, and have earnestly been preparing for competition.
At this competition, students auditioned individually for a panel of judges. Judges cannot see or recognize any of the students. Thousands of students auditioned. MISD middle school students competed against other school districts including Waxahachie, Red Oak, DeSoto, Dallas ISD, Cedar Hill, Irving ISD, Lancaster, and Grand Prairie.
Of the 64 students from Frank Seale who auditioned, 31 earned a spot in the All Region bands!
If you see these hard-working students, please congratulate them on their accomplishment!
