Direct donation drive
The Direct Donation Drive is in full swing and we are making progress toward our $5,000 goal!
Combined with funds from the Jog-a-Thon, all donations will go directly into funding playground equipment. If we reach our goal, we will be able to install two stand-alone pieces this summer ready for next year! We will then continue to apply for grants, ask for sponsorship from local companies, and pursue all fundraising options available to us to make larger improvements next year.
If you haven’t already, please donate today!
ALL DONATIONS DUE BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST
Venmo- Search for “Adams Elementary”
Please make out checks to the APA.

Pe and wellness news
Students began the first third of the lesson with a wide variety of slam ball exercises. Slam balls are weighted (6lb and 10lb), soft balls that allow kids to lift weights safely and creatively. Using the slam balls, we did some drumming in beats of 4 and 8. The last half of the class was devoted to hockey skills: dribbling the puck under control and passing the puck to a partner.

Cards and magnets
Cards and Magnets Needs Your Help!
Each spring parents can purchase cards and/or magnets featuring their child’s artwork. This year we are forming a committee to help with each of the tasks necessary to continue this awesome tradition.
Groups of parents are needed to help:
• Photograph each students’ artwork
• Crop and size each image
• Assemble order forms
• Color-correct purchased images
• Cut, laminate and assemble magnets
• Print and fold cards
• Assemble orders for delivery
If you are interested in helping out, please click herehttps://signup.com/go/htchuhd and feel free to sign up for more than one part of the project. Photographing will begin in January, while the other tasks will be completed throughout the spring. Most jobs can be completed at your convenience. If you have any questions, please email Nicole and Sara at volunteeradams@gmail.com.
