The Chinese imperial palace for the Ming Dynasty
The forbidden city is a palace, that is now a palace museum. It is very important to the history and architecture of China. The Palace was where the emperor from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. For Almost 500 years the Forbidden City was the home of the emperor, and it was a ceremonial and political center of the Chinese government. It was built from 1406 to 1420 and consists of 180 acres.
