Happy Retirement to Mrs. Danko!
Mrs. Wendy Danko is retiring from Homer Community Schools after 31 years of dedicated service to our students, staff and community as the K-12 Social Worker. She was honored at the annual Retirement Tea on Tuesday, May 31, with her family all present to celebrate with her! Words cannot express the impact that Mrs. Danko has had on generations of students and how much she will be missed!
1st Annual Mr. and Miss Homer Hogstravaganza
The Homer Hogstravaganza Festival is back and will be held on August 5th and 6th. They are looking for current 8th - 12th grade students to apply to become the first ever Mr. and Miss Homer Hogstravaganza! Ashley Hudson
Ashley Hudson is the daughter of Melinda Hudson-Bethke, Jared Bethke and Anthony Hudson. She has been involved with robotics, bowling and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Ashley plans on attending University of Northwestern Ohio to study motorsports.
Riley Miller
Riley Miller is the daughter of Amy and Chad Langdon and Mindy and Chad Miller. She has been involved with softball and plans on attending Kellogg Community College to pursue a degree in elementary education.
Taylor Perkins
Taylor Perkins is the daughter of Annette Collins and Shawn Perkins. She has been involved in volleyball, weightlifting and choir. Taylor plans on doing more with music.

Emmaly Petersen Emmaly Petersen is the daughter of Dea Madden-Petersen and Shawn Petersen. She is the Vice-President of NHS and a senior class officer. She is also the salutatorian of the Class of 2022. Emmaly plans on attending Jackson College to pursue a degree as a Veterinary Technician. | Breanna Templeton Breanna Templeton is the daughter of Deitre and Thomas Hampton and Gary Templeton. She has been involved in volleyball, basketball and quiz bowl. Breanna plans to attend Kellogg Community College for two years and then transfer to a university to study Criminal Psychology/Forensic Studies. | Abigail Grimm Abigail Grimm is the daughter of Mark and Khristina Grimm. She has attended Homer Schools for her entire school career. She is involved in concert band, jazz band, and marching band. She is also on the bowling team and takes dual enrollment courses. She is a current CACC student in the EMT program, and plans to attend college to become a pediatric cardiovascular sonographer, while also working part time as an EMT on an ambulance. |
