CONCERT DETAILS
Happy Holidays HSE Band Families!
We are preparing for our concerts this week and are excited to perform music that will put you in a festive mood!
Our Concert for Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony is on Wednesday, December 7th at 6:30pm in the HSE Leonard Auditorium. This time has CHANGED from its original start time because we discovered that HIJH inadvertently scheduled their winter concert at the same time as ours and we want to accommodate the many families that share students at these two schools. HIJH has shifted their start time to 7:30pm and we have shifted ours to 6:30pm. Our Jazz Band will also be performing in the lobby prior to the concert!
Dress is Concert Black for all students.

6:00pm Symphonic Band
6:20pm Wind Symphony
The Wind Ensemble will be performing along with the Symphony Orchestra at the Sounds of the Season Concert on Thursday, December 8th at 7:00pm.

ADOPT-A-FAMILY
We are able now to get back to our annual tradition of adopting a family for the holiday season! (The Adopt-A-Family program was temporarily suspended during COVID.) We just received our family’s list of needed items, so I have created a Sign-Up Genius here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4baaae22abfe3-hseband
If you are willing and able to contribute an item from this list, please sign up so we can track everything. There are a few items still needed. If you are not able to help, no worries! This is strictly voluntary! Each sign-up slot contains the age and gender of the person the item is for, as well as their size and any details included with their info. I have set up multiple slots in each category so that we can provide more than one of each respective item...shirts, pants, shoes, etc.
Items are due to my office by the end of the school day on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6TH! Please do not wrap items. Thank you so much for your generosity!
