Thank you for voting and having your voice heard on the LHISD 2023 Bond. The Bond was very successful based on the efforts of our staff and community. I want to thank the Board of Trustees for solid and unified leadership during the process, the members of the Long Range Planning Committee, the community PAC, Wesley Sandlin for driving six bus tours and the LHISD staff for helping communicate the Bond package.
The Bond passed by the following percentages:
- Prop A $459 Million for new schools and infrastructure passed at 76.59%
- Prop B: $7.1 Million for Technology passed at 75.67%
- Prop C: $5 Million for Panther Stadium improvements passed at 65.06%

Community Input Needed for Future Facilities Naming
Panther Nation it is that time again, to provide us input on the naming of our new campuses!
Per Board Policy CW(LOCAL) Naming Facilities: The Board shall have authority to name or rename any facility, property, or fixture. A Board committee will recommend names to the entire board at a future meeting.
As part of this process, LHISD is asking for your input! Below are the three schools that will be named soon.
Elementary #7
Elementary 7 is located in Santa Rita Ranch on the corner of Santa Rita Blvd. and Tierra Rosa Ave. It will be located across Santa Rita Blvd from Santa Rita Middle School. Design is complete for this school and LHISD will break ground in June. This school will open in August of 2024.
Middle School #3
Middle School 3 is located east of Hwy 183 and CR 258 in the geographic center of the district. The school is close to two areas known as Seward Junction and Sunset Ridge. LHISD has broken ground on this school early in 2023 with a completion date of Summer of 2024. Middle School #3 is south of CR 258 and HS#2 will be located north of the current CR 258.

High School #2
High School #2 is located east of Hwy 183 close to the corner of CR 260 and the new CR 258 extension in the geographic center of the district. The school is close to the area known as Sunset Ridge. LHISD will break ground in August of 2023 with a completion date of August 2026.
Information regarding High School #2 COLORS and MASCOT will be decided at a later date.

New Student Registration
Liberty Hill Independent School District is now open for new student registration for the upcoming academic year. To register your child, simply visit the Student Enrollment website and follow the instructions for new student registration.

Every year, we are presented with unique challenges, but our educators and staff have risen to the occasion with unwavering dedication and commitment to providing the best education possible for our students.
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of our Teacher and Staff of the Year recipients. Your hard work, passion, and champion spirit are truly inspiring. It is because of your tireless efforts that our students are receiving the highest quality education, even in the face of challenges.
We are especially proud to recognize our Elementary Teacher of the Year, Emily Lively, and Secondary Teacher of the Year, Amy Rosser. These two exceptional educators have gone above and beyond in their roles, consistently demonstrating excellence in teaching and a deep commitment to their students. Thank you for always embodying what it means to build a championship culture within our district.
In recognition of their outstanding contributions, Emily and Amy were also recipients of the Liberty Hill ISD Education Foundation's Excellence in Teaching Grant of $1,000 each. This grant was created in honor of the late Kristy Kercheville, a beloved member of our district and community who was passionate about education and empowering both teachers and students.
We would also like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to all of our teachers and staff. Your work is vital to the success of our students, and we appreciate the incredible effort you put forth every day. Your passion for education, commitment to excellence, and unwavering dedication to our students are truly inspiring.

National Physical Education and Sports Week
It's National Physical Education and Sports Week, and at Liberty Hill ISD, we understand the critical role that physical education plays in our students' overall development from kindergarten through 12th grade.
From learning basic motor skills to developing lifelong fitness habits, our dedicated physical education teachers and coaches help students build confidence, teamwork skills, and sportsmanship. We're proud of our Panther athletes who consistently demonstrate these values both on and off the field.
LHISD is proud to support and invest in quality physical education programs that promote healthy lifestyles and help our students become well-rounded individuals.
National Music Week
Happy National Music Week! Here at Liberty Hill ISD, we're celebrating the power of music and the impact it has on our students' lives. From learning to play an instrument to singing in a choir, music education is an essential part of our curriculum, and we're proud to offer it to our students.
Our music programs are truly something to be proud of. Our talented students and dedicated teachers have worked hard to create amazing performances that inspire us all. We can't wait to see what they'll accomplish next!

Nurses Week
Happy Nurses Week to all our amazing nurses!
At Liberty Hill ISD, we know that our nurses are the backbone of our school community. They work tirelessly every day to keep our students safe and healthy, and we can't thank them enough for all that they do.
Whether it's taking care of a scraped knee, administering medication, or just providing a listening ear, our nurses go above and beyond to ensure that our students are well taken care of.
School Lunch Hero Day
For National School Lunch Hero Day, we visited with all of our incredible child nutrition services teams! We are so thankful for the work they do day in and day out to nourish our students and communities.
The CNS teams prepare, cook, and serve thousands of meals across the district every day with dedicated hands that serve and devoted hearts that care.
To our CNS staff: THANK YOU for being true heroes to the kids and families you serve. You are making a difference - one meal at a time.
