Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

MAP TESTING WEEK *All students eat free breakfast!

Monday: Girls on the Run Practice @ 3:45-4:45pm.

Tuesday: 1st Grade Field Trip to the ZOO. STEAM Club 3:45-4:45pm. Souls in Motion Free Exercise Class 7:00-8:00pm.

Wednesday: Girls on the Run Practice @ 3:45-4:45pm. Spirit Squad Performance @ PHS Girls Soccer Game - 6:00pm.

Thursday: Souls in Motion Free Exercise Class 7:00-8:00pm.

Friday: 1st Grade ZOO Visit @ Truman (2 of 2)

Monday - Thank YOU! Thank you to all of you who have reached out and supported sending in $ and gift cards for teachers. We will be playing silly games throughout the day to spend the day laughing and they will be extra surprised and excited to see they can play towards winning a prize!

We are also using this day to spend a day focusing on Affirmations.

This is simply stating the positivity you see and know the staff at Truman spread each and every day to best support your kiddo.

Tuesday - A pocket full of sunshine to get through this Tuesday. Send your student to school with a small gift for their teacher or staff member that is YELLOW! We will try to send them home with a bag full of SUNSHINE!

Wednesday - Send your student to school with any supplies or classroom necessities your child's teacher or a staff member may need to get through the last month of the school year.

Thursday - Send your student to school with a sweat treat for a staff member today to keep those smiles going as we head into Friday!

Friday - Close out your week by sending a sentimental gift, book or note to a Truman staff member.

Map testing begins on Tuesday, May 2nd for all 3rd and 4th-grade students. It's time for our leaders to show off all the knowledge they have obtained during their time at Truman Elementary!

Testing will be Tuesday-Thursday for the next 2 weeks.

Attendance is very important, any sections missed will need to be made up.

Breakfast will be free during MAP testing for all students (K-4).

Please plan to eat a healthy breakfast and get plenty of rest over the next TWO WEEKS.

If your student is enrolled in our Summer Discovery program you should have received this Welcome Letter this past week!
