formula vs. breast milk?
- BREAST MILK
NO pacifier vs. Pacifier?
- PACIFIER
Co- sleeping vs. crib sleeping?
- CRIB SLEEPING
WHATS THE BEST FOR YOUR BABY
i choose breast milk because it has many nutrients that formula milk may not have. breast milk is also free which means that i could use the money for something else.
Pacifier VS NO Pacifier
Having a pacifier Would make my life a lot easier. if my baby has a hard time sleeping i can just give her it and then eventually she'll fall asleep
Co-Sleeping VS Crib Sleeping
Crib sleeping, for me i thinks its safer for not only my baby but for me. Ive heard plenty of stories about babies accidentally being suffocated and it can happen to anyone. so for safety reasons my baby will be in the crib next to my bed :)
i made my decision about each catergory above by research
OH NO........ MY BABY HAS THE FLU
yesterday i noticed that my baby seemed really tired and wasnt in the mood at all. shes been crying more than usual and not eating her mashed up banannas which she loves. i knew something was wrong so i called the docter right away. I told the docter what happened and he diagnosed it as the flu. i started to get worried. but then the docter assured me that everything was going to be alright, its the flu season so its very normal and that it would only last a couple of days and the most a week. He said that to treat it my baby just needs more rest and medicine.
possibe symptoms:
- Acting tired and cranky much of the time and not feeding well
- Cough
- Diarrhea and vomiting
- Has a fever or feels feverish (if no thermometer available)
- Runny nose
treatments (medicine, home remedies, OTC meds) :
- medicine
- lots of rest
how long will it last:
- around a week
As a mother, how does this make you feel?
- really worried

MY EXPERIENCE
Carrying around my baby for the past 7 days honestly made me really angry and frustrated. i didn't expect carrying a 5 pound of flour would be so hard. my parents reacted like it was a real baby and welcomed her like it was their own. my parents made me bring my baby to church. my friends were really helpful. when i was tired they would offer to carry her.
The thing i hated most was having to walk from class to class holding a 5 pound sack of flour. but what i really liked about this project was that i got to learn to be responsible The hardest part was remembering to bring my baby wherever i went.
