Fictional Court Case
A man named John was arrested for buying a coffee. Police claimed he was a criminal but later changed the story and pressed charges for him buying a coffee. They claim that since it is not in the constitution then him buying the coffee was illegal. The supreme court used the 9th amendment as a base to guide the verdict and determined the police had not grounds to arrest john.
Real Court Case
In the Griswold vs. Connecticut, the supreme court declared a Connecticut law unconstitutional after it outlawed the passing of information and limited use of Birth Control Devices, It was deemed to violate the 1st, 4th, 5th and the 9th amendment by the accusers.
