Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the student-led conferences. I love seeing how excited students get when they share their learning.

As we go through curriculum, we will be adding things to their Data Notebooks. I will let you know when we update them so you can see what goals they are working on and which goals they have mastered.

A Good Read

Global Read Aloud

We have officially started our book for the Global Read Aloud, The Year of Billy Miller. Ask your child about what worried Billy. They are looking forward to hearing more and connecting with other classrooms.

Class Objectives for Next Week

Math- Solving Multi-Step Word Problems, 2-Digit Addition and Subtraction with Regrouping

Writing- Focusing On One Idea in Writing, Utilizing Mentor Texts (Books that are good examples of this)

Reading- Global Read Aloud, Supporting Answers to Questions with Text Evidence

Science- Changes from Heat, Completing the Science Experiments to Investigate Things We Wonder

Social Studies- Geography
