Club Hope (Homeless) and All-Stars (Foster)
Club Hope is a program that support the academic and social-emotional needs of students who qualify under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act and lack adequate or permanent housing. The All-Stars Program supports all students who are in foster homes. Two brief videos have been prepared to share in more detail about each program. Parent Center Multi-Tiered Level of Support
Tier 1 - KITE Parenting Class
- Increasing cross-cultural communication skills
- Strengthening parent/child relationships
- Strategies to help their student thrive and succeed in a multicultural society
Date: Fridays, September 10 - November 12, 2021
Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm in Mandarin and 1:00pm -3:00pm in English

Tier 1- Soluciones Cariñosas
A 10 week workshop for all parents and caregivers of elementary school children: Learn new tools for raising your strong-tempered child, positive discipline techniques, and much more! This class is given only in Spanish.

Tier 1 - Positive Discipline Parent Workshop
Educating with Love, Dignity and Respect
This is a virtual workshop in English for parents of middle and high school students. Acquire your positive discipline parenting tools that will help you deal with your child's challenging social-emotional behaviors.

Tier 2 - Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group
Date: Thursday, September 23. (will meet every 3rd Thursday of the Month)

Tier 3 - Educate, Equip and Support (EES)
The EES program consists of 11-13 sessions and is offered to parents/caregivers who are raising a child with mental health and/or emotional challenges. Classes are deigned to provide parents/caregivers with general education about children’s mental health challenges, parent to parent support and community resources.
Topics include: Recognizing and coping with grief • brain development & Diagnosis • Mental Health & Medication Treatment • Childhood Depression & Anxiety • ADHD • Conduct Disorder • Bipolar Disorder & Schizophrenia • Eating Disorder • Non suicidal self-injury • Accessing mental health treatment • Schools and special education • child welfare and probation.

Community Advisory Community (CAC)
Bowling with Dad
Dads, Uncles, Big Brothers, Grandfathers, father-figures… Join the Parent Center at Bowlero Lanes for a day of fun.
Date: Sunday, September 12, 2021
Time: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Bowlero Lanes, 1800 Hamner Avenue, Norco
Price: $20 per person (must pre-register)
Price Includes:
- 90 minutes of bowling
- Shoe rental
- Slice of cheese pizza
- Unlimited soft drinks

Food Distribution
The Parent Center and Saddleback Church have partnered to host a monthly drive-thru food distribution that is open to all.
Dates: 2nd Saturday, 9/11, 10/9, 11/13, 12/11
Time: starting at 10am until supplies last

Southern California Gas - Offers several different discount programs to help families in different situations. Programs include, California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE), Energy Savings Assistance, Medical Baseline Allowance, Past Due Bill Forgiveness, and Gas Assistance Grant.
