Action Team Meetings: Teachers please share with students when action team meetings take place. Some teams meet Mon, Wed, Fri once per week or multiple times per week. ADVISORIES, STUDENTS & FAMILIES
NP3 HS Counselor Visits: HS counselors will be visiting 8th grade advisories May 1-5 to talk about courses for next year.
May is bike month: Encourage your kiddos to ride their bikes! Students can ride to school and during their free time AND they can log their trips each week for prizes. Food is included, too!: 5/1, 5/8, 5/15 & 5/22 riders can get fruit and pastries in the morning. On 5/5, 5/15, 5/19 & 5/26 riders can get popsicles after school. Ride on Pirates!
Spirit Week: This week is spirit week Pirates! Mon is PJ day, Tue is Duo day, Wed is "A day at Disney," Thur is Fandom Day and Fri is NP3 Spirit Day. A reminder that if you're not in spirit day attire, you're in NP3 dress code. :)
DC Trip Fundraiser: Students attending the 2018 east coast trip are selling tickets to the May 20th Sac Republic Game. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased from a traveler or online at https://groupmatics.events/event/Natomaspacific0 Proceeds go directly to students for their trip. All in person ticket sales must be to Ms. Clark by 5/17 at 3pm. Tickets will be sent home with students Fri 5/19.
Treasure Chest Community Festival (TCCF): With a name like TCCF you know this event has gotta be unique. On May 5th we'll be ending our year with a bang -- from community performances to cultural clubs, food and dance -- our Treasure Chest Community Fest is what happens when a talent show meets a festival meets an open mic meets art exhibition. You'll find everything from skits to singing, Folklorico to Bhangra, henna, craft tables and more. There's something to do for absolutely everyone. This is our way of showing off our dynamic and vibrant culture here on campus!
Leadership Day - Navigating The 7 Habits: Save the date! Formally known as Open House, this is your chance to join us on campus and have your student lead you through their learning. You will get to see all of the hard work and effort they have been doing throughout this year. Leadership Day is scheduled May 17 at 6pm and will begin promptly in Advisory classes.
Booster Meeting: The next booster meeting will be on May 8th at 6:30. Snacks are provided!
8th Grade CSUS Field Trip: On 5/4 8th grade students will be taking a field trip to California State University of Sacramento. Permission slips are going home this week, please make sure you get them in!
Library Books: Are due May 5th. Please get them in!
Park Clean-Ups: 5/12 3-5pm. See Mrs. Qasmi for more information! Please come and join if you have not done so!
Popsicle Sales: Student Government is selling popsicles after school on 5/4 for 50 cents each.
Pizza Sales Continue: To help raise money for 6th grade- 5/4, 5/11, 5/18 & 5/25 after school in the quad.
Outdoor Club Field Trips: Hiking on 5/6 & Skating on 5/20. If you would like to join please let Ms. Marinkovich or Mr. Hara know! SO exciting!
