A Brief Summary
Melinda Sordino is a new girl at Merryweather High School. Melinda doesn't have many friends because the summer prior to her freshman year she called the police when she was at a party because she had been raped. Since she decided not to tell anyone about the raping she lost all of her friends. Now Melinda is just fightening through the struggles of highschool by hiding in janitor closets. Eventually Melida faces her fears and describes the horrifying expience that no one knew she had encountered.
