TMHS Wildcat Choir
September 5-9
Please make sure you have completed all required forms for your student for this school year. These forms are major grades!
For students auditioning for All-State District we will be having mock auditions on Wednesday September 7th. All students auditioning should be in attendance as we will go over the audition process that will be expected on Saturday the 10th. Students should come to the choir room immediately after school, and once your student finishes singing, they may leave. We are hoping to be finished with mock auditions by 5:00pm.
District Auditions Coming Up!
If your student is auditioning for the All-State District Audition on September 10, please make sure you read all of the information in the letter below. We will be sending out more information next week as reminders as well.
Students need to arrive at TMHS by 6:15am on Saturday, September 10th. We will be taking a bus to Caney Creek High School. If your student wishes to drive, that is fine but they still must meet at TMHS at 6:15.
Reminder - If we submit your name to audition, it is expected that you follow through with the audition. The TMHS Choir will pay for your All-State music and for your audition fee, but if you do not show up to the audition you will reimburse the choir program for those costs. If your student has a music packet and is no longer wishing to audition they need to return the music packet by Wednesday, August 31st or will need to pay for the music packet.
The packet cost is $30 and the district audition fee is $22.
**No Chorale Rehearsal on Monday September 5th for Labor Day Holiday**
Chorale Home Football Game
Chorale students will sing at the home football game on September 8th. We will have food in the choir room at 3:00pm after school for chorale students at no charge. Call time will still be 5:15 at the TISD stadium for sound check.
