Knox County Coupon Book Campaign 2019-2020

We've sold 1,600 Coupon Books so far! Our goal is 4,000 and the sale ends Monday, September 30th. We sold OVER 4,000 books last year, so we know it can be done! This year, our school gets to keep $9.00 from each sale of a coupon book. That's increased from last year's $8.00 that went to the school. We use this money for instructional supplies, technology updates and items for safety and security.

Ms. Kotsianas and I have agreed to try to catch a pig, if we sell 4,000 Coupon Books! Our top sellers also get to team up with their teachers to play Human Hungry Hippo. We've got great things planned! Please help us reach our goal of 4,000 books sold.

Did You Know We Have a Lost and Found?

Hi, all! I hope everyone’s school year is off to a great start. I am in charge of Lost & Found this year and just wanted to make a quick post for anyone who may have questions about where it is or how it operates.

  • Lost & Found is located in the hall directly across from the library.
  • I plan to check it once a week, likely on Thursdays.
  • While I will attempt to get items that are clearly labeled with students’ names back to them, please, please, please have your child check lost and found when they have a missing item.
  • I will donate unclaimed items once a week, or at least biweekly.
I just checked it today and there were only a handful of things there, so I left them for now. I will collect and donate next week. If you have any questions, comment here or shoot me an email at

Parents are able to go onto the Knox County Schools website and:

  • Put money on their child's account for lunch or breakfast;
  • Designate if any of the extra foods can be purchased;
  • Limit ice cream to certain days, etc.
  • Checks can be sent in to the cafeteria as well.
Ms. Angie is our cafeteria manager and is happy to answer any questions parents may have. Please call the main office at (865) 539.7844, extension #29411.
