ALL FOR BOOKS
Today we will be sending out All for Books flyers home with students!
All for Books is a simple way to raise funds before and during our Book Fair to purchase much-needed books for your school. Collect loose change and dollar bills to buy books for kids needing assistance, help teachers build and refresh classroom libraries, or aid an outside group in need of books.
The Scholastic Possible Fund matches every donation, up to $1 million in books, received through the program and distributes them to children in need through organizations such as Kids In Need Foundation, Reader to Reader, Inc., and the National Center for Families Learning.
Please fill your baggies at home and bring them back to school next week! We will also be holding a coin drive during the week of February 17-21st before our book fair!

LEGO LEAGUE JUNIOR SIGN UP NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2ND, 3RD & 4TH GRADE
LEGO League Jr. is a club for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders that focuses on building working robots and programming them. Working as a team, students will explore and research a real-world topic, design and build a model using LEGO® elements making sure there is at least one motorized part, and then present their journey on a poster. This year’s theme is “Boomtown Build,” where students will plan, design, and build an accessible, environmentally friendly, and durably built town. Students will get to show off their creations at the Lego FLL Jr. Expo on Saturday, May 2nd at Bishop. This club will meet after school in the STEM Lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45pm to 4:00pm from February 25th through May 5th. Space is limited to 18 students, sign up will be on a first come, first served basis. There will also be a mandatory parent meeting on February 18th for students who are in this club.
