September, 2021
A few reminders:
- Masks must be work everyday
- Please keep your child home if he/she is exhibiting any signs of illness
- Charged device should be brought to school everyday (if your child has not received a device yet or is waiting on a repair, that info is coming soon)
- Carpool families- 1. please make sure your child is prepared to get out of the car each morning, with close to 750 car riders, we want to make sure our line moves swiftly, 2. please be courteous of our neighbors and do not block their driveways while waiting in line, 3. please be courteous of each other by not skipping in line
We always want your first point of contact to be your child’s teacher, but included below are contacts should you need assistance with anything outside of the classroom:

September 27-29-Coordinated School health coming to the building to do health screenings for grades K, 2, and 4. We urge all families to take advantage of the hearing and vision screenings. Forms will be coming home soon

- Lit Families is a free family webinar series presented by the Early Literacy Consortium. The first back to school session is on September 14, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Register to watch the live webinar: https://bit.ly/3gWMeMU
- Help support our students in need at our 4th annual Necessity Drive. Each year, individuals, businesses, and/or organizations provide items or monetary contributions to support our students. Student Device Assistance and Updates
Students who are new to SCS or waiting a device repair, the district will be sending a team to Macon-Hall in a few weeks to assist with device distribution and repair
- Students who have lost, damaged, or malfunctioning accessories can still purchase replacements from the front office
- $35 to replace lost, damaged, or malfunctioning charger
- $60 to replace lost, damaged, or malfunctioning keyboard
- $14 for a lost or damaged case
