Statement: Religion controlled and determine most of daily life activities.
Example #1:
Every day the Egyptians would go to temples to worship many gods. They worshiped gods like Amon, Ra, Amon-ra, Osiris, Anubis. The Egyptians were polytheistic because they worshiped many gods.

The Egyptians put objects in the tombs that the Egyptians thought they would need in the afterlife. For example the pharaohs of Egypt got gold and paintings.

The Egyptians believed that the gods controlled everything. They believed that the gods controlled nature. For example, if there was a bad storm the people thought it was the gods of nature who made the storm. the Egyptians believed the gods of nature like the god of sun, the god of wind, and the god of earth.

There are five ways that impact culture. First religion impacted them, they worshiped their gods, goddess, kings, and leaders. The river valley civilization did that every day, that was their way of life. Architecture impacted them because they had all different kinds of ways making home/buildings, for instance the Egyptians built pyramids. Writing impacted them because they wrote different ways in in different countries, for example the Egyptians had used hieroglyphics. Innovations impacted them so they could advance their way of life. And lastly, achievements impacted them because they set goals for themselves and then earned them so they could advance their way of life. Culture impacted the River Valley Civilization because it was a unique and different way of their daily life.
