Welcome to Creekside Community High School's First Newsletter!
Dia de las Muertos (Day of the Dead)
Many people help set together an altar to remember their loved ones.
Stephanie Van Winkle, along with other students, came together for a face painting event to celebrate this tradition.
All the students and teachers gathered together in a circle to share about their lost loved ones.
Creekside Thanksgiving Celebration
There was a feast for the whole school where they had a bunch of food and desserts. There were also activities that you could go to and participate in. It took place in the cafeteria in the new school building. There were decorations everywhere and lights. Everyone in the school was there. We did this to celebrate thanksgiving as a community. We celebrated on November 22nd. by: Vanessa Tiedemann
Community shares what they are thankful for gathered together as one!
Here our students are chopping up some fresh vegetables for the feast!

Q? What has been your favorite classes so far this year? What has been your favorite event so far? (Homecoming, Creeksgiving, Day of the Dead etc.)
Nick Maxwell: Culinary class is awesome with all the knives and food. The Thanksgiving event was pretty awesome, it had all kinds of food with different cultures of food.
Aidan Glenn: Math. The math teachers have been really nice and understanding; they're ready to help students at any time. Homecoming had a lot of actual good music and not a bunch of mumble rap.
