Parent Teacher Conferences
On November 1, our parent teacher conference sign up for November conferences opened in ParentVue. You received detailed information from your child’s classroom teacher via email. Parent teacher conferences will be hosted on November 21, 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and November 22, 8:00-11:00 a.m. The sign up module in ParentVue will be open until November 17. If you will not be able to attend a conference on either of these days, teachers can set up a phone conference with you after Thanksgiving break. Conferences will not be hosted prior to November 21. Students in grades 4 and 5 should attend conferences with their parents/guardians. Those in K-3 do not participate in conferences and need not attend.
Progress Reports - November 18
We are excited to share your child’s progress with you! Progress Reports for students will be available online via ParentVue on November 18. Please check your ParentVue account on or after November 18.

WC PTO Book Fair
The Woods Creek PTO will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in November. By visiting our fair, you will help our school create a culture of reading, build our school libraries and select books for your home library. The Book Fair will be open on November 17, 4:00-7:00 p.m., November 18, 4:00-7:00 p.m. and November 19, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. If you cannot make it to the fair, please shop at our school’s Online Book Fair which will be available November 18-December 1. Community Harvest Food Drive
District 47 is proud to support the Crystal Lake Food Pantry and the annual Community Harvest Food Drive. Woods Creek is collecting items for the Food Drive November 1-November 14. See this year’s flyer for most wanted food and household items. Monetary donations are also appreciated; checks can be made payable to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. We are excited to be involved in this important community event!
Holiday Support Available
If your family is experiencing significant financial difficulty as the holiday season approaches, there may be community resources available to help. Please contact one of our social workers for information by November 18, 2022. Our social workers are Katie Janowicz at ksjanowicz@d47.org or Jenna Divito-Gonzalez at jdivito@d47.org.
Reporting Student Absences And Tardies
Please remember to report student absences via ParentVue each day your student is absent. In addition, if your student will be late for school please report that as an absence as well. After you sign in your student in the school office, we will adjust the attendance code accordingly.
