Staff Appreciation Lunch
As we move into this final week before break, I wanted to take an opportunity to say thank you and I appreciate all you do for our students each day.
AS a way to show my appreciation, my gift to you is a staff luncheon.
On Friday December 22, I will be providing a lunch for the staff to enjoy. There should be options for all with soup, salad, sandwiches and some treats.
SAVE THE DATE!!! DECEMBER 20, 2017
It’s that time of year again and I’d like to invite EVERYONE to the 2nd Annual Holiday/End of the Semester Party on Wednesday, December 20th. We’ll get started around 4:30 and run until 10ish or so. (It is a “school night” after all) We’ll provide the view, but you gotta provide your drink! The party will be BYOB and we will have a small amount of hors d'oeuvres, so if you have something you’d like to contribute and share, please do so!
We live at International Market Square; 290 Market Street Unit 702. There will be a sign with the code for entry. Again, please do not confuse this with the nearby Midtown Market Square. We’re down near the Twins Stadium and the Farmers Market off of Lyndale and Glenwood, just under I-94. The easiest way is to just follow Lyndale Avenue all the way to Glenwood Avenue, turn left under the interstate and the building is on the right. You may park in any parking lot. The design center entrance is the one with the circular driveway and all the flags, and the loft entrance is just to the north, closest to the parking ramp.
Please make sure to let any staff or SEA’s who may not see this email to feel free to attend. If you have a significant other to bring along, you may do so as well! It should be a fun time and I hope to see everyone there! Let me know if you have any questions!
ESP Mentor Support
Hello all Transition Plus staff.
We have accepted the opportunity to have LaShawn Hankton the selected ESP Mentor for MPS to work with all new hires as of July 2017 at our site. She shared, she is looking forward to a collaborative effort as your learning relationship will grow throughout the remaining of the year to support, develop, strengthen, identify and maximize your talents and efforts with the students you serve and colleagues you educate with.
Come see Jake perform!
Friday, December 22nd 7-9pm at Sawatdee in Saint Paul.
Jake Anderson, Joe Anderson, and Joe Hysell will be performing a combination of original and cover folk/country songs. Jake will be playing ukulele and singing. The event is free, the food is delicious, and it'll be a great way to kick off winter break.
