A Message from the Principal
Dear Millbridge Families,
As the 2018 portion of our school year concludes, there are exciting announcements to share. Mr. Richard Keegan, who has done an amazing job as our interim assistant principal, will be heading to the Intermediate School, where he will serve as the Interim Assistant Principal. Mr. Stephen Blenderman, our new Assistant Principal, will start officially on January 2, 2019. He has spent time at Millbridge over the past two months and I am confident he will be a fabulous addition to our school. Please read the Meet Mr. Blenderman section below to learn more about him.
On behalf of the Millbridge family, I want to wish everyone a safe and restful winter break. Our staff will be anxiously awaiting your child’s return on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Fondly,
Mrs. Lowe

Congratulations, Mrs. Juliani
The Millbridge staff and Administration are pleased to recognize Mrs. Stacy Juliani, one of our beloved second-grade teachers, as our 2019 Teacher of the Year. Here is more information on Mrs. Juliani and the other educators being recognized throughout the district.
Meet Mr. Blenderman, Our New Assistant Principal,
Mr. Stephen Blenderman graduated from Rowan University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Exercise Science. Upon graduation, Steve worked as a long-term substitute at both Williamstown High School and Clementon Elementary School prior to being hired full-time at LEAP Academy Charter School in Camden, NJ. In January 2012, he was welcomed to the staff at Delran High School, where he has served as a health and physical education teacher. Upon beginning his career here, Steve pursued his Master’s Degree in School Leadership at Wilmington University, completing the program in August of 2015.
During his tenure in Delran as a teacher, Steve has written curriculum and served on various committees and leadership teams including the Collaborative Leadership Team. He has been trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and served as an advisor of the Class of 2019. He has shared his experience in athletics in the high school, founding the Delran Winter Track Club and the after-school Fitness Center Club, as well as serving as the head coach of the Boys Cross Country Team for the past 5 years.
Steve and his wife reside in Mantua with their two children. He is extremely excited to be joining our staff at the Mill and looks forward to working with our students and families.
Input Wanted- Parent Teacher Conference Survey
A few years ago, conferences were moved to December based on feedback that we had received from parents and our staff. This change allowed us to align conferences with the distribution of the first-trimester report card and ensured the teachers had plenty of meaningful information to share about your child’s strengths and opportunities for growth. We realize that for many families, the schedule that is needed to accommodate conferences impacts your own schedules and child care plans. We wanted to ask your opinion again so that we can maximize instructional time and try and best meet the needs of our community while accomplishing this important task. If you can take a few minutes to complete the survey, it would be greatly appreciated. Please click here to access the survey.
Mr. Mark's Important Safety Information
We get very busy and caught up in all the celebration and get-togethers during this time of year. It is important to take precautions and supervise our children during the distractions of our busy lives during this time. Please be aware of some common things we all have around the house that could be dangerous:
- Poisonings increase when families travel
- Some holiday decorations and plants can be poisonous
- Button batteries, found in toys, remote controls, flameless candles, and many other items, are VERY dangerous if children swallow them
- Tiny magnets are also very dangerous if children swallow them
- Cleaning up after a party could prevent children from swallowing harmful substances the next morning.
Please have a have a safe and happy holiday and New Year. See everyone next year.
