See Something, Say Something Week
February 25 - March 1 @ Westview Middle School
"See Something, Say Something Week" is a youth violence prevention program sponsored by Sandy Hook Promise that teaches students how to:
- Look for warning signs, signals and threats
- Act immediately and take signs, signals and threats seriously
- Say Something to a trusted adult before someone hurts himself or others
Westview will participate in the following events during this week:
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25
- Read the "See Something, Say Something" Proclamation during morning announcements.
- Distribute the "See Something, Say Something" Pledge Cards to students during Titian Time.
- Broadcast a quote, fact, and video pertaining to "See/Say Something" on the news show.
- Attend the "See Something, Say Something Selfie Station" set up in the media center to support the program on Twitter.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26
- View the "See Something, Say Something" video by Downingtown West High School during Titan Time.
- Broadcast a quote, fact, and video pertaining to "See/Say Something" on the news show.
- Attend the "See Something, Say Something Selfie Station" set up in the media center to support the program on Twitter.

- Sign the "See Something, Say Something" Pledge Posters during Titan Time.
- Broadcast a quote, fact, and video pertaining to "See/Say Something" on the news show.
- Attend the "See Something, Say Something Selfie Station" set up in the media center to support the program on Twitter.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 27
- Create "See Something, Say Something" bookmarks during Titan Time using https://www.canva.com/create/bookmarks/ or paper/pencil.
- Broadcast a quote, fact, and video pertaining to "See/Say Something" on the news show.
- Attend the "See Something, Say Something Selfie Station" set up in the media center to support the program on Twitter.
FRIDAY, MARCH 1
- "WEAR GREEN DAY" to remember the Sandy Hook Promise.
- Receive "See/Say Something" wristbands.
- Broadcast a quote, fact, and video pertaining to "See/Say Something" on the news show.
- Attend the "See Something, Say Something Selfie Station" set up in the media center to support the program on Twitter.
