YOU'RE INVITED!
INTERNET SURVEY
The past year's difficulties of having adequate internet for students to learn from home has proven we need to make sure we speak up and have digital equality for our county. Please fill out this survey.
We need your help!
Kanabec County is working to bring better and more affordable broadband (high-speed internet) to our region. Kanabec ranks last (87th out of 87 Minnesota counties) in the availability of broadband.
Please take a moment to complete a short survey using the link below.
Information provided through this survey will help direct investment in high-speed internet so Kanabec residents and businesses can thrive in today’s economy.
KINDERGARTEN CAREER DAY
MUSTANG SPIRIT AWARD
HEALTH OFFICE UPDATE
PLEASE keep your students home if they are sick. If you or someone in your household has 1 more common symptom or more than 2 less common symptoms, everyone should stay home, refer to the MDH Decision Tree and the Home Screening Tool if you are unsure what to do, or feel free to call! In order for us to stay open and remain in school, we all need to do our part. Stay home if sick, wear a mask, wash your hands, and social distance as much as possible.
If someone in your household is pending a Covid test, everyone needs to stay home until the results come back.
Please note: If your student is sent home with the Decision Tree and you choose to have them evaluated by a provider, the note MUST list an alternative diagnosis OR a negative covid test.
Immunizations:
Upcoming Kindergarten and 7th students: You need additional immunizations!
Make sure your 6th grader is ready for 7th grade!! They will need a Tdap & meningococcal vaccinations on file or a notarized exemption form. Please note, notarized exemption forms do expire. 7th grade students will need an updated form upon entering high school if you opt for an exemption!!
Kindergarten students will need their kindergarten immunizations.
Student(s) will be excluded from the first day of school if I do not have one of these forms on file, an updated immunization, or a notarized exemption. Please make sure either form is on file, as it is very hard to see students miss their first day. This holds true for homeschool students as well!
I know everyone is tired of COVID, however, we are Mustang Strong, and we can do this!!
CHILD CARE
At this time Child Care has reached its capacity. We will continually reassess the availability but at this time we will have a waiting list. If you would like to be on the waiting list, please email Aimee at amoske@moraschools.org.
There will be no child care on May 31st. This is No School Day. Please plan accordingly.
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH
Reminder to all families- Due to Covid, the USDA has offered a waiver to all school districts allowing schools to offer BREAKFAST and LUNCH for FREE to ALL students for this 2020-2021 school year! This is offered to every student regardless if they have an approved application for educational benefits on file or not. ALL STUDENTS can receive breakfast and a lunch every school day for FREE!
Thank you so much for allowing our Nutrition Department the opportunity to feed your student(s) and help them achieve their best!"
