News from the Principal's Desk
We had a very busy October at Gibraltar Elementary School! Here are some of the October highlights and events to look forward to in November.
October Highlights
- Students have been busy celebrating the end of the first Reader's and Writer's Workshop Unit by having celebrations in grades K-5.
- We held our Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 15 and 20.
- FOG has continued Forest Days through a Virtual Presentation.
November Events
- November 9, 2020 - School Board Meeting - 7 PM
- November 23, 2020 - School Board Meeting - 7:00 PM
- November 26 - 27, 2020 - Thanksgiving Break - NO SCHOOL
- November 29 - December 12 - Elementary Online Book Fair

FOOD DRIVE

Gibraltar Elementary will sponsor a food drive to help stock our local food pantries for the upcoming Holidays. Students will be collecting various items to help local food pantries. Please see the list below for items to donate. There will be an additional note coming home in the backpacks.
Please send your food item back in the child's backpack by Monday, November 16, 2020.

Gibraltar Elementary Celebrates Responsibility!
Gibraltar Elementary gathered together on Friday, October 30 for their October Assembly and recognized students who demonstrated RESPONSIBILITY over the month of October. For November, our character trait is CITIZENSHIP.
