The Patriot Press
Liberty Park Elementary School Newsletter
Friday, April 24th
Dear Liberty Park Families,
I want to share a few weekly updates. First, as we finish our second week of Learn at Home, I want to thank our students for their hard work and our parents and caregivers for all that you are doing to support your family during this difficult time.
I want to let you know that Registration for Kindergarten and Preschool in Warren Township begins on Monday, May 4th. There will be a live webinar May 4th at 7pm. Principals and teachers will present information about Kindergarten and Preschool programs in Warren, demonstrate information about how to register online, and conduct a live question & answer session with audience members. Children must be age 5 on or before September 1 to register for Kindergarten and age 3 on or before September 1 to register for Preschool.
We are continuing to evaluate our technology needs and how to better serve our families and students. Since iPads and Chromebooks require a WiFi connection, we are interested to know whether our students have access to WiFi at home. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey at bit.ly/MSDWTECHSURVEY.
A reminder that our teachers are available Monday thru Friday from 9-4. If you have questions regarding Learn at Home, please contact your child's teacher or use the hotline number 317-608-0545. Mrs. Hench and I are also hosting a Coffee Chat with Admin on Wednesday mornings @ 9:30am. We are available to help answer any questions you might have during this time.
I hope that you and your family have a great weekend and as always, I thank you for your continued support of Liberty Park Elementary!
Stay Safe.
Your Principal,
Jason Brooks

SCHOOL DISTRICT PUBLICATIONS/NEWS MEDIA USE
The occasion may arise when the school district wants to recognize your child or your child's school. This may include your child's photo, your child's name or your child's work in district publications, newsletters, on school district websites, and in electronic/social media or in staff training videos. We may also want to tell the media (including newspapers, television, and radio) about your child's achievements. We never knowingly release information about a student to anyone who wants to use it for commercial/political purposes. However, we will honor your request to not include your child in these types of recognitions if you notify your child's school office in writing that you do not want this type of information released.
