Can you Brave the Shave?
It's not too late to help LHS raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This is a huge event in our community, with every school and many sports teams represented each year. Principal David Adam will be one of the event's annual shavees...after a rousing bagpipe performance of course! Check out the flyer for information on joining our team, making a donation, or volunteering for the event! If you have any questions, please see Ms. Tziarri or contact her at stziarri@ltps.org.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
According to Irish legend, each of the leaves on a four-leaf clover brings its own bit of magic: the first leaf represents hope; the second stands for faith; the third is for love; and the fourth leaf brings luck. Wishing you all these things and more this St. Patrick's Day! Remember, you don't have to be Irish to have fun on March 17th...so don your green, laugh all the day long, keep a jig in your step, a song in your heart, and some shenanigans up your sleeve!
Cardinal Jeopardy
Last call for Freshman Jeopardy teams! See Ms. Haughey in 122 or 117 or stop by the main office for a packet.

InterActing with Love
InterAct participates with Special Olympics events throughout the year and goes monthly to Lend-A-Library at the Lawrence Community Center to help organize the library. The club shows its presence at Eldridge Park Elementary School assisting students in the weekly Destinations Program, helps younger students at the annual holiday gift shop in December, and recently started helping with child care during PTO meetings.
Ice Hockey Warming the Fans - On and Off the Ice
Winter sports are beginning to wrap up, and our winter athletes have worked hard all season. Today we'd like to spotlight one of our many awesome winter teams. The ice hockey team fought through a tough season and caught the attention of fans in the community, who wanted to commend these student-athletes for the joy they show for the game, as well as for their teamwork, sportsmanship, and unwavering support of one another. The ice hockey team is a blended one, with players from Hightstown and Ewing as well, and our Cardinals and members from cross-county schools show us that a group of would-be rivals can become not just a real team, but a family! You've made us proud!

Wang Named Finalist

Reese Grabs Runner-Up Honors
The program is a high school writing, public speaking, and career guidance program for teens involved in the Boys & Girls Club. Makai and other candidates had to demonstrate excellence through community involvement, interviews, essays, and recommendations, and also presented a two-minute speech at the event. Keep aiming high, Makai! We're so proud of you!

Blind Date with a Book
Our Library Volunteers are stepping up and taking the activities to the next level! They have organized a Blind Date with a Book program. During the month of February, the LHS community was able to come to the library and pick out their blind book date! The bag included a hot chocolate pocket, bookmarks and a mystery date!
Pictured is one of our dedicated readers, Perla Juarez Marquez, uncovering "who" her date is! She is being assisted by Ms. Hall.
Sending Love Across the Pond
The Student Council at Lawrence Middle School is currently raising money to help the animals in Australia. If you would like to support their campaign, please consider purchasing a t-shirt.
The students designed the logo and completed all of the fundraising forms and the online campaign themselves!
