CHES Weekly Snapshot 11/14-18;21-22
Building Bright Futures
Message from the Principal
Good Afternoon CHES families,
Thank you to all who came out to celebrate Veterans Day with us on Thursday. Our fourth graders did a wonderful job with their program and celebrating all Veterans of every branch. Our fifth grade choir sang beautifully and enriched the program with their songs. The fourth grade team, Kara Harris/ resource teachers were instrumental in making this happen! A special shout out goes to them!
You will see that this snapshot includes this week of November 14 and November 21-22 since Thanksgiving is coming up and we will have no school on November 23-25.
π Our school is beginning a new class reward system! Ask your student about Class Clovers! This will start on Monday, November 14, and we are excited to reward classes who synergize and demonstrate the 8 Habits!
If you would like, please take a moment to write something you are thankful for in regards to CHES (teacher, programs, initiatives, etc.). We will share these thoughts with staff over the next couple of weeks as we acknowledge all there is to be thankful for. Please click this link:Thankful form for parents

π’ IMPORTANT INFORMATION & REMINDERS:
- If you are dropping your student off in the mornings, please know that 2 orange cones will be placed in the driveway around 7:42 or 7:43 when there is a break in traffic so that we can get students to class by 7:45 when the tardy bell rings. We ask that you DO NOT drive through the cones for the safety of your child and others. If the cones are up, please drive around the front loop and park. You must walk your child into the building to receive a tardy slip. We also ask that you remain in your vehicle to allow for the line to continue to run smoothly.
- If you pick your child up in the afternoons in the car rider line, please remain in your vehicle. Staff or safety patrols will help your child into the vehicle. If you need to buckle your child, please pull forward so we can continue loading cars safely and efficiently.

If your child is going to be a car rider in the afternoon daily, we ask that you fill out the form below as soon as possible so that we have the correct information and can provide you with a car rider pass. In order to have a car rider pass, this form MUST be filled out first.
