Warren G. Harding (1865-1923)
Warren G. Harding was the 29th President of the United States. A conservative senator from Ohio, Harding won the presidential election of 1920 in a landslide by promising a "return to normalcy" after World War I. By promising to do so, Hardings words left an impact on americas lives. Harding managed to move the nation out of war-time, improved working standards, agricultural and legislature while in office.
Teapot Dome Scandal (1922-1923)
The Teapot Dome Scandal was significant because it damaged the public viewpoint of Hardings presidential administration. This scandal was an act of bribery with oil companies in 1922-1923.
Kellogg Briand Pact (1928)
The Kellogg-Briand Pact was an international agreement in which signatory states promised not to use war to resolve "disputes or conflicts of whatever nature or of whatever origin they may be, which may arise among them. " It was signed by Germany, France, and the United States on August 27, 1928.

This political cartoon was significant during the 1920's because it displayed the true citizenship that america was portraying by making it aware that the Ku Klux Klan was causing harm and more of an issue than helping turn things around for the better. This cartoon shows that the KKK needed to be over with.
