This Week: Satellite Hours in Baldwin

This week I will be in Baldwin for an additional satellite hours on Thursday, March 26th from 10:30-12:30. Stop by in between classes with quick questions and for resume critiques!

(I will also still be in the MLC on Tuesday from 2-4pm as usual)

Volunteer this summer with AIESEC! Info session - March 25th

What is AIESEC?

AIESEC is the world's largest youth-operated organization with membership in 126 countries and territories. They offer both volunteer based and professional internships across the globe.

AIESEC's Global Citizen program connects students and recent graduates to volunteer projects related to Youth Empowerment, Social Entrepreneurship, and Environmental Awareness across the world. Each internship lasts between 6 and 12 weeks, fitting perfectly between university semesters. The program fees amount to $500. Housing is provided, as well as at least 1 meal a day and transportation to and from work.

There will be an information session regarding Global Citizen March 25th at 7:00pm in Sanford, room 112.

Intern with AIESEC in Colombia

AIESEC in the United States is proud to announce an internship opportunity with their partner, AIESEC in Colombia. Attend the info session on Wednesday, March 28th at 7pm in Stanford 212 for more details.

What is Shape Colombia?

Last year, AIESEC in the United States partnered with AIESEC in Colombia to put on Future Colombia! In three weeks we brought in over 250 applications specifically for this program. The project is back, only bigger and better.

· 4-month project timeline starting in August

· $700 USD Monthly Salary

· There will be 250 other trainees arriving into Bogota, Colombia

· The first two weeks have free accommodation for interns

· $250 flight subsidy paid on arrival and included with first salary

How do I apply?

Step 3: Pay 150 Registration Fee

Step 4: Apply for Shape Colombia

Step 5: Interview for Shape Colombia

Step 6: If/When accepted, Pay 350 Delivery Fee

Did you know that business etiquette and communication is cited by employers as the #1 weakness of UGA students? Attend this workshop to learn more about some of the common pitfalls reported by recruiters, as well as tips to enhance your professional image in the workplace.

This event will be co-facilitated by an employer who will share personal examples of etiquette Do's and Don't's, and we will also discuss common etiquette challenges faced by young professionals.
