Attention…Any student that will turn 16 during the month of June and is wanting to take their permit test must have the verification form from Judy Wilson before June 10

    The Titan Football Program:

    The Titan Football Program will be hosting the 2016 Titan Football Youth Camp for students in K-8thgrade.



    The camp will be held at the Titan Football Complex at Collins High School on July 12th, 13th and 14th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. The cost of the camp is $10.00 . Each camper will be placed in grade level groups and will be Instructed in all areas of football. There will be 7 on 7 flag football competition daily and a punt, pass, and kick competition . All Campers will receive a t-shirt and awards will be given for punt, pass, kick winners. Applications are available at Collins

    Cost: $40.00 per player (if there are multiple children from one family attending, it is $40 for the first child and $15 for any additional children)

    There will be a variety of sill and team competitions with awards being given to the Competition and Contest winners

    Last year we had over 300 players participate. Over 100 of these players competed in the middle school division.

    Centre takes a ton of pride in their residential camp and has truly appreciated the clubs from around the state that have supported us. Some of these clubs include: Javanon, Kentucky Fire, Owensboro, Storm, Bluegrass, CKSC, United, LFC, and many more. The camp takes extreme pride in making the atmosphere competitive and fun.     Shelby Prevention Health Fair/Fiesta

    In the parking lot behind/beside Hardees

    Volunteers would hand out A Place to Sleep brochures (and possibly church brochures?).

    A canopy, table and 2 chairs will be set up and taken down for you.

    Sign up for 1 hr, 2 hrs or all day. Best to have at least two people there at all times in case one needs a food/bathroom break or just so the other can go around and visit all the other vendors.

    This is a great opportunity to get word out not only about A Place to Sleep, but also to let them know that First Presbyterian Church loves them.

    Please keep collecting Box Tops for Education and send them in. The Youth Services Center is now in charge of collecting Box Tops for Education for the Youth Services Center. The funding will allow us to help students with school needs, family needs or anything that arises within the family to help the student to achieve. So PLEASE send in those box tops...

    8th Grade Parents Be Sure To Go To West Middle School to VOTE for SBDM!

    Just a reminder that our SBDM Election will be held on Wednesday May 25th. Please take the opportunity to come to West to Vote on our SBDM Election.

    RECC Internship:

    Boys and Girls Soccer:

    There will be a Student/Parent Meeting for Boys and Girls Soccer on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 6:30 in the PAC for returning players and those interested in playing this fall.

    Part-Time Job:

    Part time position on our family farm needing to be filled ASAP.

    Perfect for a local teen; work on your spring break, weekends, summer, etc. we are located approximately 5 miles from Martha Collins High School.

    Must have your own reliable transportation, and be dependable and honest.

    Some experience or handy skills are preferred, but not required. We will train an applicant with a willingness to learn.

    The job will consist of various duties such as (but not limited to) fence repair and building, wood splitting and stacking, yard work/clean-up, stall cleaning. Some work with animals.

    Collins Softball Camp:

    Collins Basketball Annual Golf Scramble:

    Collins Boys Basketball Annual Golf Scramble will be held on Friday, July 22nd. It has been an incredible annual event for our program with a lot of support from our community and school family!
