Kindergarten Parent Night Information

Kindergarten Parent Night Coming Soon

The BSE kindergarten staff is eager to meet all new incoming parents. This Thursday evening we will open our doors and invite you to spend a quick hour with your child/children's teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. This event is designed to ease any of your anxiety around the kindergarten experience and allow you an opportunity to see classrooms and get to know a little about the year to come. This event is all about the basics and know that you will continue to develop a positive ongoing communication relationship with your teacher all year long. If it is possible we like to keep this event student free so that the teacher and you can really have a great connection for the kick off of the year. All of our classrooms will be open on Ice Cream Social (8/8/16 at 5:30 - 7PM) to allow your child to see his or her room and meet their teacher.

Kindergarten Night FAQ

  1. When will I know who my child's or children's teacher is? You will be able to see your child's teacher assignment in skyward as soon as we release them. We hope to have this done by the end of the day Wednesday. I'll send a skylert to let you know when we are releasing.
  2. Why don't I know already? Today the district pulled a section from our kindergarten, so we are redesigning our entire class list for all 6 sections. It takes some time, please patient with us.
  3. Should I worry about my student's iPad? No. We will get heavily into iPad details after school begins. Just be sure to have either purchased or rented an iPad and feel free to gather more information at the district link below. We will work our technology tools into the learning day, however it is not our focus for the first days of school as we want to ensure building relationships with students is our first priority.
