PARENT RESOURCE ROOM
OUR PARENT RESOURCE ROOM is up and running. We hope you find the time to utilize the many resources, informational pamphlets and lending library put together for your convenience. Books are available for a 2 week period and may be taken home after being scanned out. Parents/Guardians may stop by between 10am-2pm. Provided are books and informational pamphlets along with a laptop to search agencies and groups to help guide your children through difficult situations, all set in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. A list of all books and resources will be available at a future date.
Thank you to our CARES TEAM who spent may hours putting it all together. Our open house on Thursday, February 23 was a success and parents and children were able to experience the comforts and resources for themselves.

SCHWEITZER EMPATHY CLUB
The Empathy Club is showing support for students and families effected with Autism as well as raise funds for the Autism Cares Foundation. APRIL IS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH. Please show your support in any way you can. There are many ongoing fundraisers and events.
Autism is a wide-spectrum mental disorder that is talked about every day in health circles, but few really know all the facts about it. Research continues to push forward about the possible causes of autism (which can cause some patients to be non-verbal), and some are even challenging whether it’s even something that should be “cured” at all. Early detection is key.
