The Three Musketeers
By Alexandre Dumas
'"Take this box, Sir, and keep it in memory of me," she said.
Buckingham took the box containing the diamond tags, and once more knelt before the Queen.'
In the book The Three Musketeers, the Queen of France is given 12 diamond tags by the King. However, she gives them away to her lover, the Duke of Buckingham who is from England. The Cardinal sees this as an opportunity to exploit the Queen's love affairs and arranges a ball, where the Queen has to wear the diamond tags. D'Artagnan, one of the main characters, goes on a mission to save the Queen from embarrassment and rides all the way to England to the Duke for the tags. He has made an enemy with the Cardinal by helping the Queen, and as he makes friends and foes, his story begins...
These diamond tags have been worn by the Queen and Duke Buckingham, and were commissioned by the King. The Cardinal has been in possession of some of these tags as well. Because of their journey through the hands of royalty and the fact that they are diamonds, they are extremely valuable. These tags are custom-made, and therefore will make you truly stand out from the crowd.
