Principal's Message
We've had a fun week at PRT! With the beautiful weather most of this week and because we have amazing students, we surprised our students on Thursday right before the end of the day with a popsicle treat! It was such a fun way to end the day. They were so appreciative and so surprised!
Two more full weeks until Fall break! First semester is flying by!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Food Drive
KAY Club is going to be having a food drive to collect food for the Johnson County Christmas Bureau. We will be collecting food items from November 7-November 11 before school near the main entrance. There will be a prize of donuts for the WAG class that brings in the most items. We will take all nonperishable food but especially need peanut butter, canned meats, beans, pasta, rice, canned pasta (ravioli etc.), canned fruits and vegetables and cereal. Thanks so much for your support in helping out those in need.
Veterans Day - Friday
For example: I will wear a name tag in honor of my grandfather, "Jim Kirkpatrick, Air Force." Students may want to include more names or years of service, but the purpose is the name. We will also share with students our PRT veterans including custodian Ric Pena among others, if they want to participate but don't have a name. Of course, students are not required to participate.
Spirit Days for Girls Basketball Season
Monday, November 7 - White Out
Tuesday, November 8 - Red, White and Blue
These are the final spirit days for girls basketball season:
Thursday, November 17 - Western
Thursday, December 1 - Husky Pride
