Kuna families,
Spring is one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year with state testing and celebrations of student successes at special events. We are all finishing the current school year strong while also planning for the next.
👍👎 Please rank three options for 2024-25 calendar
Our district calendar committee invites staff, parents, and students to rank three 2024-25 school year calendar options in a short two-question survey. Here are the options:
Option A follows the same structure as our past calendars.
Option C is very different from past calendars and allows the first semester for grades 6-12 to end at the start of Christmas vacation by:
- Moving the start of the school year to earlier in August
- Shortening the October break by a day. The day cut from the October break shifts to create a one-day break in April.
- Shortening the Thanksgiving break from five days to three days. The end of the school year in this option would be May 16. Depending on Idaho Center scheduling, graduation would be held after the last day of school.
Please take the two-question survey on these options by clicking the link below:

✍️ Keeping up with the work of our school board
Our school board holds a regular monthly meeting to conduct business. We post the agenda on Fridays on our website, physical locations in our community, and a notice on social media. Public members are welcome to attend in person or watch the meeting livestream on the school district's YouTube Channel.
The Monday after the meeting trustees send out a recap of the meeting to patrons in the zone. If you aren't receiving this update, please let us know. The most recent report was sent on Monday.
