Emerald Campus Weekly News
A note for students and parents-
Greetings!
Thank you for a great week! We are taking this week to welcome you to "Sock-vember" and the fall service project of Emerald Campus IB CAS! We are again partnering with We Help Two, a non-profit organization that fundraises for two causes at once and has been doing so for 14 years. They provide themed packs of socks in varying colors and designs with three different pairs in each pack. Each pack is $15.
This year, Emerald Campus is working with We Help Two to make double the impact! We are raising funds to fund The Emerald Campus Garden, student initiatives and green spaces at Emerald Campus. Locally, we will donate socks to the local Ronald McDonald house near Nationwide Children's Hospital Main Campus. Socks are the most needed, yet least donated, item that charities give out. With We Help Two, every three packs of socks that are bought mean one pack donated. You don’t even need to buy three packs of socks, the buying is cumulative so only buying one helps.
How can you get involved? You can either buy socks in the EC Atrium during lunch through in-person sales (only cash or check is accepted at this time). You can also pick your perfect pair online and either have them shipped directly to you (quick shipping times) or shipped to EC and we will distribute in December when we receive all ordered socks. Please visit our on-line campaign and store at EC "Sock-vember" IB CAS Service Project.
Thank you in advance for supporting our school and local communities!
