Wharton Wildcat Newsletter
November 19, 2020
Dear Families,
We would like to wish all families a joyful Thanksgiving holiday. While this year has been challenging at times, we can all find something to be thankful for, which brings us happiness. Celebrate all that you have and know that better days are yet to come.
Our Wharton staff is thankful to work with such wonderful, kind students and families each day. Your support has been essential during the remote learning process, and for that we can't thank you enough. Enjoy the break next week; it is well deserved.
We look forward to seeing the students again, on Monday, November 30 at 7:50.
Educationally yours,
Dr. Shestine Gesbocker, Principal
Mrs. Sara Leone, Associate Principal

A Glimpse Inside Our Classrooms
Solving Expressions
Mrs. Egner's class practices solving expressions during teacher directed instruction. This Seesaw activity helps in explaining this more complex skill. Students are making progress with this and are able to explain the steps. Great job!
Get Up and Move
These students in Ms. Frick's class take advantage of a Go Noodle break. Such breaks allow for students to refocus between lessons, and it is great fun.
Thankful
Students in Ms. Reyes' class are working on projects, which share what they are thankful for. In addtion to writing about this, students are creating collages to support their writing.
Tech Support with Ms. Sinclair 11/23 4 PM to 6 PM
This will be an open Zoom to get tech support from Ms. Sinclair during Parent Teacher Conferences. All are welcome to join with their questions.
