Recording Our Shadows
Technology:
The students are creating a Power Point presentation to share the information that they have learned about the sun and moon. It is truly amazing how engaged they are during this project. It really seems to be fascinating to them that they can take the words and create a "presentation" out of them. They are also helping each other learn different ways to alter the pages and texts. To get their information we have read books, watched videos and read articles on the internet. Introducing the topic of space has allowed them to ask questions and seek answers through their own research.
Gift Exchange
Just a friendly reminder that we will be doing a gift exchange the last week before break. Each student is to bring a small item for each of the 20 students. A flyer was sent home about this before Thanksgiving break.
