Principal Message
November
First Day of School
Note from Mrs. Craft
Dear Hart Families ~
Thank you to everyone who attended Meet the Teacher last night. It was great seeing everyone and meeting our new families. In this message, you will find reminders and information for our school kickoff! Our teachers have worked incredibly hard over the summer and these past two weeks to prepare for this school year. I am humbled by their dedication and desire to better themselves for the students of Hart Elementary.
On the first day of school only, parents may walk their child into the classroom. To help with parking, we are asking that 3rd and 4th graders be dropped off from 7:25 - 7:35 and Kinder - 2nd grade dropped off from 7:35 - 7:50. Please know that we understand if you can not follow these times, but if you can, we would appreciate your support. If you're a Kindergarten parent, we hope you will head to the Leopard's Lair for "Tears & Cheers after your last picture and "see you later."
As a reminder, we do not allow any visitors for the first two weeks of school. This allows us to ensure our students can practice our procedures to ensure a successful school year. Lastly, please know that we have been as proactive as possible to create smooth processes, but we kindly ask for your patience as everything takes a long time at first. We will refine as we go and lines will move more quickly once we all (parents, staff, and students) learn what works best to get us out the door safely and quickly.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out at anytime.
All My Best,
Wendy Craft

My mission is to be a servant leader who works with students, parents, and staff to build a community that fosters relationships and learning where everyone THRIVES. Each day, I strive to make the choice to be great versus comfortable, because you can't be both!

A Note from Nurse Tami
Hello, Hart family! Just a reminder that if your child will need any medication kept or given in the clinic, certain paperwork is required. Any prescription medications or daily medications will require a form signed by both the parent and doctor. Any emergency medications for diabetes, asthma, allergy, and seizures will require the same form plus an action plan signed by a physician. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or visit our website. (Visit: https://hes.lovejoyisd.net. Click Departments, then click Clinic.) Thank you!
