2021-2022 Parent and Family Engagement Policy

School Plan for Shared Student Achievement

This is a plan that describes how Whitthorne Middle School will provide opportunities to improve family engagement to support student learning. At Whitthorne Middle School we value the contributions and involvement of families to establish an equal partnership for the common goal of improving student achievement. This plan describes the different ways that Whitthorne Middle School will support family engagement and how families can help and participate in activities and events to promote student learning at school and at home.

Our School Shall:

Involve parents in the joint development and review of plans for improvement of our school by:

Developing School-Parent Learning Compacts that outline how parents, school staff, and students will share responsibility for improved student achievement. This will be accomplished through the annual review process.
