Mock ACT on October 17th

On Tuesday, October 17th, all juniors will take a mock ACT using the math/science wing of the school. A schedule will be emailed that will contain the testing locations for all juniors as well as the location of any displaced teachers. While not involved in giving the test, some teachers will be asked to cover another testing teacher's students, so please check this schedule for that as well.

Everyone's help on this busy day is much appreciated!

Google Classroom Tip--Notifications

Teachers have the option to set up 2 types of notifications--email notifications and device notifications. Email notifications send an email when certain things happen in Google Classroom and Device notifications send you a push notification when there's activity.

How to enable:

Email-Select the Menu bar (3 lines)-->Settings-->Notifications and choose the types of notifications you want.

Device-Menu-->Settings-->Device Notifications and again choose the types of notifications you would utilize

Students get the same kinds of notifications and are emailed and/or notified on their device when they are invited to a new class, a new assignment, question, or announcement is created, work has been graded or returned, anyone comments on their posts or mentions them in a comment, or work is due within 24 hours and hasn't been submitted.
