Tuesday April 6th - We will host a Senior Meeting in the PAC at 10am about All things Graduation! We will update the graduating class on important details and expectations for graduation. For the Empire graduates, we will send this information to you via email so you do not have to be here. However, you are invited to attend if you want to. Cap & Gown Pickup

Tuesday, April 13th, 10am-1pm

595 Stars Boulevard

Bedford, IN

We invite seniors or families stop by the Performing Arts Center Lobby between 10am and 1pm on Tuesday, April 13th to get graduation items. You may come directly to the PAC lobby.

If you are unable to stop by on this day, you can make arrangements to pick up at the BNL office after April 14th.

Graduation Traditions: This week we have a few Graduation Traditions to explore together. These traditions are rooted in history, and honor the class in unity - linked you will find the timeless tradition of Class Colors, Class Flowers, and Class Motto. We ask for your vote.

Invite a Teacher: One of our favorite Graduation Traditions at BNL is our INVITE A TEACHER to your Class of 2021 Commencement. Each year we challenge our graduating class to remember the past - the days of elementary school, middle school, and high school. We ask you to think to your favorite teachers and educator influencers - we then invite you to write a letter sharing a memory or experience with this teacher, offering them an invitation to graduation. You will find the form attached. Please complete as many as you wish (more forms will be available in the office). You may return it electronically to me or bring to the office.

Empire Attendance

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Students are expected to be on pace and passing in all of their classes. Make sure you are working daily on your courses. The suggested amount of time to work is one hour per day per course. If students are not on pace and passing classes they will be marked as an unexcused absence for each school day of inactivity.

Trimester 3 Final Exams

Please be planning now for your trimester 3 final exams. Remember, finals or (EOS exams) must be proctored in-person. Plan early to make sure you are available for these important tests. Your exams are worth 20% of your course grade and can sometimes determine if you pass the course, missing them can make a very negative impact on your grades.

Dates and times will be forthcoming. Students typically need to attend to finals sessions to complete all of their finals. At this time, finals sessions will be planned for the week of May 24th.
