We are so excited for all of our new friends that have joined us in 2nd grade! This year is going to be filled with lots of fun adventures and laughter. We invite you to join us on our adventure of positive energy! Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Family Focus

This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.

This weeks Family focus:

Money- Practice counting coins at home. Draw it out using hairy money or use real coins and use hairy money to help you count up the total.


ELAR: We will discuss establishing a purpose for reading and work on writing complete sentences with proper capitalization and punctuation.

Math: This week we will review place value, comparing numbers and counting money.

Social Studies: We will identify contributions of historical figures.

Science: We will compare changes in materials caused by heating and cooling


September 25-End of the 1st 6 weeks- GLOW DAY- Wear neon colors (2nd Grade only)

September 28- 2nd 6 weeks begins

October 2 - Parent/Teacher Conference Day- NO SCHOOL

October 5- No School

-Please make sure to bring a mask every day

-Transportation changes need to be called into the front office.
