The Culture of UKraine
The people of Ukraine have many celebrations each year. There is one certain celebration called Vechornytsi have a long History in Ukraine. "Razom nas bahato, nas ne podalty" Is a popular and cultural Ukrainian statement meaning "Together we are many! We cannot be defeated!"
The main language is Ukrainian, but Russian is spoken throughout the country too.
Religion is practiced daily in Ukraine. Their main religions is Eastern Orthodox Christianity, Eastern Catholicism, and Roman Catholic. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church is the largest church in the country. The second largest is the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. And not very far behind is the Roman Catholic Church.
Dance is a very big part of the Ukrainian culture. When woman dance, they where very colorful costumes, mostly blue, green, red, and black. They also where red boots when they dance.
In Ukraine food is also a big part of their culture. There is a soup named Borshch made out of beets, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, and dill. Another popular food is salad.
