ACCESS for ELLs 2.0
Kindergarten through 8th Grade students will be taking the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 assessment between January 19-February 18th. The test is administered every year to help school districts monitor the English language development of students identified as English language learners. This test measures your child’s progress in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English language skills.
Any student who is identified as an English Learner - even those who are not receiving services - are required to participate in this assessment. The purpose of this State assessment is to measure student progress to ensure that all students are achieving at appropriate levels. In NPD117, we value the information we receive from ACCESS and use it to continually improve our programs to provide the best opportunities for our students.
Please read this letter for more information.
