Are You Ready For The Interview?
Interview Activity: to participate you must submit a resume!
Dear Sophomores & Juniors of The Grade,
For the past two months, you have been learning the ins and outs of making your resume and conducting yourself in an interview. At this point, you should have created a resume and begun to prepare answers to interview questions. The culmination of this project is the Mock Interview Activity itself in less than 2 weeks!
There will be professionals volunteering their time to conduct your mock interviews. We don't want to waste their time or this opportunity! In order to confirm that you will be ready for the interview, we need you to send an electronic final draft of your resume ASAP. We will then pair you up with an interviewer.
You are expected to wear business attire and also bring a paper copy of your resume to the interview.
Please RSVP below to let us know if you will be attending the session. Also, send an electronic copy of your resume to your mentor or to danbmurphy@gmail.com.
Dan Murphy,
The Grade Professional Seminar Coordinator

Some Typical Interview Questions:
Below are some typical interview questions to help you prepare. Practice by writing out the answers to each of these questions. Have your answers prepared for this month’s mentoring session. Your interviewer will be using these questions to conduct the interview.
- Give an example of a problem you have solved and the process you used.
- How do you think you have changed personally in the past 2 years?
- Describe a leadership role you have held, and tell me why you have committed your time to it.
- Have you ever received a grade lower than you expected? If so, what did you do about it?
- What is you greatest strength? What is you greatest weakness? How will they affect your performance in this program?
- Tell me about yourself.
- What do you want for Christmas this year?
