(b) How did humankind suffer as a result of one individual’s impulses? There weren't any plants that fed the animals and the people so some of them died and the humans had to get settled for the harsh weather.
(c) What does this myth suggest about the effects of an individual’s actions on the
community as a whole? That the individual's actions could take a whole part on the community by what might happen in community or how his/her actions could bother someone in particular.Popocatepetl and Ixtlaccihuatl
(a) Was the Emperor’s decision at the legend’s beginning better for the individual or the community? It is better for a community because there is just one person in charge and no one can change his idea about his rule or ideas.
(b) Is it ever important to consider the needs of a community over the needs of an
individual? Explain. Maybe sometimes because you need to know the thoughts and ideas of the people in the community to know there thoughts on a conflict.
Sun and Moon in a Box
(b) Which character bears more blame for losing the sun and moon? Why? The eagle because he let the coyote have the box and open it. He should've kept the box so the coyote couldn't open it.
(c) What does this folk tale imply about the individual’s responsibility to the community? That if you want to give someone something valuable, make sure you know them well enough that they will take good care of it or not.
