Homesteads
Helping out with homes is a lot of work for the ladies. They try and feed and help their family however they can. That’s why I think that being at home and being a pioneer and staying home is a very important job as a pioneer.
The first home a pioneer family built was a rough, one room cabin and it was made some mud, lots of logs, and some tree bark.Almost every pioneer family had a journal to record their thoughts or tell about their day. Some even recorded their own experiences.Livestock was really important to the pioneers. That was because horses and the oxen pulled the wagons and plows. The cows and goats gave milk, meat came form cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens.
