We are looking forward to a nice long weekend, thanks to Labor Day on Monday! We will see students back on Tuesday, 9/7.

If you haven’t heard, WPS is launching a district wide athletic initiative, and Fall Sports are being offered to Elementary and Middle School students this year! If you have a student interested in either Soccer or Volleyball, make sure to register them today! Westy Juniors Soccer registration (K-5th) ends Sept. 9th, and Westy Juniors Volleyball registration (K-5th) is open for a little while longer—with practices starting in October.

Student Chromebooks are now in full use in all classrooms! Thank you to parents for returning Chromebook Acknowledgement Forms for your kids. If your student is still in need of their Chromebook, please click the link below, fill in your info, and we will get one assigned to your student!

Lastly this week, thank you for your help with pick up! It’s been going a lot more smoothly the last few days and I hope the trend continues. Remember that it’s ideal to make a right-hand turn when leaving the north parking lot, as the bottle necks tend to happen when someone is trying to make a left onto Irving Street across northbound traffic.
